Building
Troy Hall has very desirable location for students, just a quick, one-block walk to campus or the amenities of the USC Village, including Target, Trader Joe’s, the USC Village dining hall, the USC Village Fitness Center as well as a variety of retail and dining options.
The building provides a variety of affordable room types, with configurations that offer the privacy of a two- or three- person one-bedroom apartment or the economy of a two-bedroom unit for four or five residents. Troy Hall has centrally air-conditioned one and two bedroom apartments with modern kitchens and bathrooms, spacious living rooms – all with balcony decks. In the two-bedroom units, each bedroom has its own bathroom. All apartments are fully furnished and feature attractive extras like new laminate flooring and generous closet space.
Features & Amenities
Residents can relax in the complex’s central courtyard, which features an open grassy area, built-in gas barbecues, chaise lounges, hammocks and outdoor patio tables for taking in the sun, or sitting by the two large fire features on a cool California evening. The courtyard's conference room features a digital AV system and is used for special student programs and activities.
Troy Hall has six laundry rooms with new, high-efficiency washers and dryers spread throughout the building, ensuring that clean laundry is only steps away. The machines can be monitored on smartphones. Residents have access to the fourth floor recreation lounge with TV several quiet study rooms and a fully equipped fitness center located in adjoining Troy East. The complex's customer service center is also in Troy East.
Students assigned have a required meal plan that can be used at the USC Village dining hall and other USC Hospitality locations.
Parking
Secure bicycle parking can be found around the building and within the central courtyard. The garage under neighboring Troy East offers parking, though the number of spaces is extremely limited. Spaces are also available less than a block away in the USC Shrine Structure operated by USC Transportation.
The USC bus stops outside the adjacent Troy East main entrance on Royal Street.
